What the hell…another Salsa convention?  Well, yes…and no!

  “Where anything can happen…” is exactly what Salsa & Mambo Expo is about in a nutshell.  It may be a very big formal event, a private event, or casual mass event, or even be somewhere totally out of the ordinary, so do not expect the same format every year!  While in the surface it may appear to be just another big event with performances and workshop, great care and planning is involved in organizing these events, factoring the most important part of the event that is usually ignored—the customers!  For instance, the workshops themselves is geared towards quality—not quantity—and are designed to work in synergy with one another.  The Elemental Mambo (EM), for instance, brings an element of formal dance education as it a fusion of Salsa and other dances, yet is carefully prepared to ensure movements blend it beautifully with Salsa.  All instructors will be prepared in advance to ensure a balance of both technique and choreography are covered within the given time.  Performances have been carefully selected that guarantees a level of calibre for both professional and amateur performances, while ensuring that the night show audiences are not swamped with countless commercial promotions and long-drawn raffle prizes!  We strive to get minimum talking and maximum dancing! Furthermore, for those of you who attended our events, when we mention food—we mean REAL FOOD—not those vegetable and simple fruit platters that they have in corporate meetings!  Last but not the least, especially for those who are new to Salsa and come from out of town, we have dance hosts throughout the entire event!  There will be some dance hosts at the Acrobat pre-party and the Saturday night party, plus the our famous Salsa Social Butterfly – Special Edition, wherein purchasing a dance card allows you amazing accessibility to dancers that could never happen in a large scale everyone for himself or herself Salsa event.  It will leave you wondering if you actually came to an event—or the event came to you!
